We approached Carl Jenkins to amend some plans that had already been approved by Bromsgrove District Council. Our previous architect was reluctant to submit the amended plans as they believed that these would not be passed, due to the fact that we were attempting to increase the square footage of the proposed dwelling by adding a second floor to a single floor dwelling.
Carl completely re-drew the plans with confidence and submitted these without delay. He verbally liaised with the council on our behalf to explain our position and was quickly successful in obtaining revised planning permission, to our absolute delight. This was despite the fact that everyone else had advised that we would not be successful.
Carl was competent and professional throughout and his fees were also very reasonable. He is not afraid to push a few boundaries with the planning authorities (within sensible parameters) and is not afraid to actually try to obtain what the client wants even if it does ‘push those boundaries’. We were absolutely delighted with his services and would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending him to others.
